Halldor Snowboard 2025

Halldor Snowboard 2025

The YES. Halldor Snowboard can do it all. Very playful but serious, and perfect for sending it all over the place, the Halldor was designed to handle medium to large features in the park while still offering performance across all terrains and conditions. Carbon Layup configuration powers up your nose and tail from the binding area to the tips. This setup will make for a more aggressive ride. The more power you are able to bring to your turns and jumps the more the board will deliver. The Triple Base Technology has loads of added benefits including a wide centerbase flat section for stable jibbing. Sidekick tips make it very playful from peak to park whilst dramatically increasing the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail to give smoother turn initiation, easy tracking, and even more float in the soft snow.

  • Flex Rating (1 = soft, 10 = most responsive)
    • 5
  • Suggested Use
    • All-Mountain, Freestyle
  • Camber / Rocker Style
    • Camber
      • This is the classic camber profile where the center of the board is raised off the snow, and the contact points are closer to the bindings. Offers good edge control, stability, and pop. Can be less forgiving than other profiles, making it better for advanced riders or those who prefer a more aggressive riding style.
  • Shape
    • True Twin
      • A twin snowboard is symmetrically shaped, with an identical nose and tail, enabling riders to perform maneuvers and tricks with ease in both regular and switch stances. This symmetrical design ensures equal performance characteristics regardless of direction, facilitating versatile riding experiences. Ideal for freestyle riders and terrain park enthusiasts, twin snowboards enhance maneuverability, allow for seamless transitions between tricks, and promote a balanced feel. The symmetrical shape fosters a consistent and predictable ride, making it well-suited for those who enjoy riding in various directions and executing tricks with a uniform approach.
    • Perfectly symmetrical shape for balanced riding, equally versatile both when used regular and when used in switch. Great balance between feline stability and freestyle mobility, no matter which way you point it.
    • Y3D Freestyle
      • The Y3D All Mountain Freestyle is your most versatile 3D shape. It will improve the "fun" factor all over the mountain generating a fast edge to edge, smooth turns and a ton of side-hit control. It excels when the snow gets deep and steep. - Medium wide center base for quick edge to edge, high speed control and float in pow. - Medium uplift of the side bases for control on difficult run ins and sketchy landings. - Medium start of the side base uplift for a larger landing platform.
  • Core Material
    • Full Poplar
      • Poplar is known for its combination of lightweight and strength, providing a good balance for the core. Its lightweight nature contributes to the overall reduced weight of the snowboard. Additionally, poplar offers a consistent and predictable flex pattern, enhancing the board's responsiveness. The wood's durability ensures the core can withstand the stresses of riding while maintaining a desirable flex. Overall, poplar wood helps create snowboards that are lightweight, durable, and responsive, catering to a broad range of riders.
  • Construction
    • Carbon Layup Halldor
      • This Carbon Layup configuration powers up your nose and tail from the bin- ding area to the tips. The more power you are able to bring to your turns and jumps the more the board will deliver.
  • Edges
    • Sidekick
      • Sidekick technology elevates the edges at the widest points of the board's nose and tail, minimizing the risk of catching an edge. This design enhances forgiveness during rides, ensuring a smoother experience. Particularly beneficial in powder snow, Sidekick optimizes floatation, by flushing snow outwards. It also helps preventing unexpected edge catches when riding on a flat base. Enjoy a more confident and controlled snowboarding experience with Sidekick technology. This is a 3D feature in the tip and tail sections outside the snowboard's effective edge. It's there when you need it and it will only be effective in pow, slush and 'end of the day' bumpy snow conditions. When everything is perfectly groomed Sidekick is not influencing the ride. However, this is only the first hour of the day and after that you will be happy to have Sidekick make your board run smoother, less nervous and channels the snow in a more natural way creating more float in deep snow conditions.
  • Base
    • Sintered
      • YES. Snowboards' sintered bases are crafted by fusing tiny polyethylene particles under heat and pressure, creating a porous, durable surface. Known for superior speed and wax absorption, these bases are favored by advanced riders for their high-performance capabilities in various snow conditions.
