Airmaster Snowboard 2025

Airmaster Snowboard 2025

The YES. Airmaster Snowboard is a dynamic freestyle oriented deck for someone that wants to ride the whole mountain. This directional twin is an excellent choice for the rider that is very well rounded. While midflexing, it's not so stiff that pressing or buttering are at all difficult, and it loves ripping around at speed, feeling very confident, very lively, not too damp. The Airmaster Carbon Layup transfers power directly from your bindings to the board's edge making it feel really quick edge-to-edge and powerful in a turn. The 3D profile keeps things fairly catch free at the contact points and aids in floatation on good snow days, and helps the board to track very well making setting up for that next side hit easier.

    • Forever Flex
      • Forever Flex is a manufacturing process that helps stabilize the flex and rocker profile of a board for its lifetime. These boards now finish the first stages of production slightly overbuilt and then are seasoned using a specialized machinery that mimics extreme riding use. By flexing the fresh board fibers and epoxy at the factory the materials settle into their final arrangement within the board layup much the same as if you rode the board for 20 days. This process helps Yes narrow their production tolerances so the board you buy has a more accurate specified flex and rocker profile that will change less as you ride it more.
  • Suggested Use
    • All-Mountain, Freestyle
  • Camber / Rocker Style
    • Camber
      • This is the classic camber profile where the center of the board is raised off the snow, and the contact points are closer to the bindings. Offers good edge control, stability, and pop. Can be less forgiving than other profiles, making it better for advanced riders or those who prefer a more aggressive riding style.
  • Shape
    • Directional Twin
      • A directional twin snowboard combines the freestyle versatility of a twin shape with a slight directional emphasis. While featuring a symmetrical shape for switch riding, it incorporates a subtle directional aspect, such as a slightly longer nose or setback stance, enhancing performance in one primary direction. This design maintains a playful feel for freestyle maneuvers while optimizing stability and control, particularly in powder or variable conditions. Ideal for riders who enjoy the park but desire enhanced performance on groomers or in specific terrains, a directional twin provides a versatile compromise between freestyle agility and directional stability.
    • Perfectly symmetrical shape for balanced riding, equally versatile both when used regular and when used in switch. Great balance between feline stability and freestyle mobility, no matter which way you point it.
  • Core Material
    • Poplar/Paulownia
      • YES. Snowboards' Poplar/Paulownia core is crafted from 50% Poplar and 50% Paulownia. Poplar offers lightweight consistency and flex, enhancing agility. Paulownia, even lighter, ensures weight reduction while maintaining strength. This blend creates a lightweight, responsive, and durable snowboard, perfect for various riding styles and conditions.
  • Construction
    • Carbon Layup Airmaster
      • This Carbon Layup configuration delivers the side flex of your bindings to the woodcore in a more direct way. Adding more feeling in transitions and when pressing.
  • Edges
    • Y3D JIB
      • The Y3D Jib/Street is the most cozy 3D in the collection. A real smooth operator that will have your back all day long. Easy to navigate short and sketchy in runs and the most forgiving 3D giving comfort progressing your rail game.
      • Wide center base for stability on rails and obstacles.
      • Medium uplift of the side bases for control on difficult run ins and sketchy landings.
      • Early start of the side base uplift for a nice and loose underfoot feel, forgiveness and no edge catch.
  • Base
    • Extruded
      • YES. Snowboards' extruded bases are durable, low-maintenance, and cost-effective, making them ideal for beginner and casual riders. Created by melting polyethylene pellets and molding them, these bases have lower porosity, requiring less waxing and simplifying tuning. While sintered bases offer higher performance, extruded bases provide a smoother learning curve and forgiving ride in various conditions.
