The lightweight core significantly decreases weight, increases responsiveness and makes for a more enjoyable on-snow experience! Rock-solid grip in all conditions is provided by the skin-specific camber profile and Madshus' durable integrated skin made from 70% Mohair and 30% Nylon. The Performance Classic binding uses a simple design with a manual open/close mechanism in the toe piece and a separate heel piece that can be moved to account for for varying boot sizes. It also features a 56mm wide baseplate that provides greater control and stability to help you perform at your best. This performance-focused binding is easily mounted onto an NIS plate and is can be repositioned on the ski for optimal kick and glide. Moving the binding forwards from center will give your ski more grip in icy conditions while moving the binding backwards will provide more glide. This feature is especially relevant for performance skin-skis to optimize performance for the day's conditions.
