Women's Moxie Bib

If you like your ski pants with more of a straight leg fit, then Flylow's women's Moxie Bib is for you. Designed with an easy-going, relaxed fit, it's got all the fixings of a top-notch bib: stretchy, recycled Tactic 3-layer fabric that breathes and bomber Surface 3-layer fabric for defense against storms, spacious pockets for stashing your phone and supplies, and a handy drop-seat for going to the loo. The fabric on the knees and seat are built extra durable for the mountain's many obstacles.

  • Surface 3-layer hardshell: 100% polyester
    • Do this for a minute: put on your ski jacket or pants and go step in the shower. If you're wearing a Flylow piece made with Surface 2-layer or 3-layer hardshell fabric by Intuitive, you'll watch the water bead up on the surface and slide right off. This burly, 150-Denier oxford weave, coated with a Durable Water Repellent, is designed to keep you warm and dry and have a tough but smooth feel. A nylon tricot on the backing protects the membrane and wicks moisture away from your body.
  • Tactic 3L softshell: 100% recycled polyester
    • Nobody wants a fabric that's so stiff and unbending that you can't bootpack up a couloir in thigh-deep snow or bend over to buckle your boots. The Tactic 3L by Intuitive is a stretchy, supple 100-Denier softshell that moves with you on the mountain. Think ultra-waterproof but with pliable mobility for high-output activities. A jersey backing keeps it soft and warm.

    • A traditionally cut fit that sits comfortably and true to size. Not too baggy; not too tight. Right down the middle. This standard fit allows for plenty of maneuverability in a classic, everyday shape for daily life and active missions.
    • Flylow changed all sizing this year on women's bottoms to numeric sizing and recently had a fit session with models in a range of sizes. All fit models from size 2/4 to 10/12 said the Moxie fit very true to size and the size they chose depended on style. Flylow's 10/12 model said "Would wear either size. Both fit well just depends on how much you layer and whether you want a more or less relaxed fit".

    • Conditions dependent, you split your time pretty evenly between the ski resort and the backcountry, which means you need gear that's tough and waterproof enough for the pounding of tram laps and storm skiing inbounds but won't sweat out on a climb on those days when you decide to earn your turns. Here Flylow has opted for fabrics and features that do double duty, like jacket powder skirts you can zip out or bib pants made for versatile pursuits.

    • PFAS-Free DWR (Durable Water Repellent)
      • PFCs or perfluorocarbons, are found in chemicals often used in Durable Water Repellent (or DWR), and once released into the environment, those chemicals are no good. Instead of harmful PFCs, Flylow uses a friendlier, bio-based treatment that will still keep your fabric dry in a storm but is kinder to you and the planet.
